HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

WonderLab offers an exciting place for learning new skills and gaining valuable work experiences. A limited number of internships and community service experiences for credit are available during the school year.

The summer internship program involves working with small groups of children enrolled in WonderCamp. Interns either work from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm, 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm, or, if approved by WonderLab staff, both shifts. Minimum commitment is one week of work after attending an orientation.

Working conditions are great! You help camp instructors guide lively science activities in an air-conditioned building and outdoor playground. Scheduling is highly flexible to accommodate your job schedule and family vacation. A background in science is not required. Each intern receives a certificate upon successful completion of his/her responsibilities.

Applicants must be entering grades 9-12 or home-school equivalent. Graduating seniors also may apply. Interns will be selected on a competitive basis and will be supervised by museum staff. Successful applicants will be notified and given further details about the orientation sessions and camp. Interns must attend one of these orientation sessions:
