Parking
WonderLab does not have a private parking lot, but free on-street parking and nearby affordable public parking facilities are available.
Free On-Street Parking
Monday - Saturday, 5:00 am - 5:00 pm Two-hour limit on any one block
Monday - Saturday after 5:00 pm and Sunday Unlimited
Public Parking Facilities
Garage Art is the closest facility. You must have coins for metered spaces on the ground level. Metered spaces and permit parking spaces (marked 12/5) are free and unlimited on weekdays after 5:00 pm and on weekends. The gate to the permit parking spaces will be up during these free periods.
Garage Market is three blocks north and is easy to reach via the B-Line Trail. This facility has a flexible parking ticket system in effect at all times, with payment calculated from your ticket when you leave the garage.
Handicap Parking
There is one free handicapped parking space in front of WonderLab with a four-hour limit. There are eight additional such spaces in both public parking garages.
Bus Parking
While groups are visiting WonderLab, buses may park free of charge in the back lot of the Bloomington Convention Center. The easiest way for a bus to access this lot is from the College Avenue entrance. The bus will have to cross the B-Line Trail to the back lot. There is an access driveway into the back lot from Madison Street, but this driveway may be too difficult for full size buses to negotiate.
