WonderLab is committed to practices that sustain a healthy environment. These include:

• Recycling of paper, cardboard, plastics, glass and aluminum
• Reuse of recyclable materials for special science activities
• Use of compostable tableware collected in special biodegradable bags to be taken to a local farm, where it becomes nutrient-rich compost for growing fresh farm-to-table produce for local restaurants and a local food pantry
• Energy efficient lighting and HVAC system
• Food served at WonderLab events is ordered from and supports local businesses
