MAKE A DONATION

Your annual contribution advances WonderLab's educational mission and is essential for sustaining operations and keeping museum admission affordable for the whole community. WonderLab served more than 80,000 visitors in 2009. However, just over half of the museum’s operating expenses are covered by admission, membership, gift store sales, and other earned revenues. Furthermore, as a private non-profit institution, WonderLab does not receive an annual appropriation of tax dollars to support operations. That means that your annual gift makes a real difference in sustaining this community asset. Thank you!

To make a donation in person, by mail or by fax, please print, complete, and return the form below. If you would like to fax the form, your donation must be made with a credit card. The mailing address and fax number are on the form. Thank you!

CORPORATE GIVING PROGRAM

Major Donors

You make choices every day about how to invest for the well-being of your business and ensure its success. Your contribution to WonderLab is an investment in a community asset that serves both the needs of your business and the families of your employees. Help WonderLab promote learning as a life skill and as a lifelong venture. The museum's specific focus on science, health and technology is designed to introduce young people to these fields and provide experiences that will prepare them for tomorrow's workforce demands. For more information about corporate giving options and benefits, please contact Heidi Frankson, development director.

NAP TAX CREDITS 2009

**Our 2009 NAP tax credits are fully distributed. THANK YOU to these donors!**

WonderLab has been awarded $15,690 in 2009 Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits! These are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the credits have been completely distributed to donors. Please note that last year all of WonderLab's NAP tax credits were distributed within ten days. We cannot reserve tax credits.

To make a donation under this program, please complete the 2009 NC-10 form, available to download below or at the museum, and include it with a check, dated no earlier than August 1, made out to the WonderLab Museum.

NAP tax credits, valued at 50% of the value of the contribution made to WonderLab, are highly beneficial to you! For example, if you make a $500 donation to WonderLab, you will receive a $250 tax credit on your 2009 Indiana state taxes, and you'll be able to claim a federal tax deduction on your donation as well.

Please call Heidi Frankson, development director, if you have questions.

WONDERWALK ENGRAVED BRICK
CELEBRATE . . . HONOR . . . THANK . . . REMEMBER . . . SUPPORT
Whether celebrating a special event, honoring a loved one, or paying tribute to your employees, there is no simpler way to leave a lasting legacy while supporting your science museum than through the tax-deductible purchase of a brick with your engraved message in WonderLab's WonderWalk. Bricks will be periodically installed in a prominent place outside WonderLab.

SPONSORSHIPS
We invite community businesses, organizations and individuals to help support WonderLab's mission by sponsoring exhibits, preschool enrichment programs, public evening hours, family science programs, professional development opportunities for teachers, annual special events and more. Your support will be recognized through event promotion materials and through signage at the event. Please contact the development director regarding sponsorship opportunities.

CONNECTING TO THE COMMUNITY FUND

This program provides free group admission for 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies that primarily serve low-income children and their families, as well as camp and program scholarships. The fund is supported by grants and donations to the museum that are specified for this purpose. Donations may be designated for use by a particular agency. If you wish to donate to this fund, please designate the amount on the Annual Fund Donation Form.

PLANNED GIVING
You can help ensure that WonderLab remains a treasured community asset into the future with a planned gift. A planned gift can offer considerable tax advantages to you as you manage your financial affairs for the years ahead and at the same time express your commitment to future generations of young scientists. Such gifts can take many forms, including bequests, life insurance, charitable trusts and more. We are happy to work with you and your tax advisor to set up a planned gift.
