Your annual contribution advances WonderLab's educational mission and is essential for sustaining operations and keeping museum admission affordable for the whole community. WonderLab is expected to serve more than 84,000 visitors this year. However, just over half of the museum’s operating expenses are covered by admission, membership, gift store sales, and other earned revenues. Furthermore, as a private non-profit institution, WonderLab does not receive an annual appropriation of tax dollars to support operations. That means that your annual gift makes a real difference in sustaining this community asset. Thank you!
To make a donation in person, by mail or by fax, please print, complete, and return the form below. If you would like to fax the form, your donation must be made with a credit card. The mailing address and fax number are on the form. Thank you!

Major Donors
You make choices every day about how to invest for the well-being of your business and ensure its success. Your contribution to WonderLab is an investment in a community asset that serves both the needs of your business and the families of your employees. Help WonderLab promote learning as a life skill and as a lifelong venture. The museum's specific focus on science, health and technology is designed to introduce young people to these fields and provide experiences that will prepare them for tomorrow's workforce demands. For more information about corporate giving options and benefits, please contact Courtney Schmidt, development director.
NAP TAX CREDITS 2011
WonderLab was awarded $15,000 in Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) tax credits by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority to distribute to donors who contribute unrestricted gifts of $100 or more to the museum. All of these tax credits have been distributed. As in the past, WonderLab distributed NAP tax credits in the most equitable way possible: on a first-come, first-served basis.
Donors please note: There will be no NC-20 Form mailed to you to send to the Indiana Department of Revenue as in past years. Your gift will already be on record at the Indiana Department of Revenue. The acknowledgement letter received from WonderLab will be the only paper record you will receive of your gift. Please contact Courtney Schmidt, development director, if you have questions.
We invite community businesses, organizations and individuals to help support WonderLab's mission by sponsoring exhibits, preschool enrichment programs, public evening hours, family science programs, professional development opportunities for teachers, annual special events and more. Your support will be recognized through event promotion materials and through signage at the event. Please contact the development director regarding sponsorship opportunities.
CONNECTING TO THE
COMMUNITY FUND
This program provides free group admission for 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies that primarily serve low-income children and their families, as well as camp and program scholarships. The fund is supported by grants and donations to the museum that are specified for this purpose. Donations may be designated for use by a particular agency. If you wish to donate to this fund, please designate the amount on the Annual Fund Donation Form.
You can ensure that future generations of children have creative and inspiring hands-on science experiences at WonderLab by making a legacy gift. The simplest way to do this is to make a bequest in your will. Please consult your legal and tax advisors regarding possible tax benefits, and make sure you designate the WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology in Bloomington, Indiana. If you wish, we will acknowledge your invaluable support during your lifetime through the WonderLab Legacy Society.
The WonderLab Museum is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Gifts to the museum are tax deductible according to current tax laws. We encourage you to consult with a tax advisor regarding your unique situation.
